I bought this and one the is stainless steel inside. I kept this one, because it also works on batteries, was cheaper and seemed a bit smaller in profile.
My only concern is that it is plastic, so it can become micro-pitted and bacteria can build up. However, it is cheap enough, that if I feel it is to that point, I can just buy another.

I was skeptical when I bought this. I decided to try it because the price was right. If it didn't do the job I would be able to chalk it up and move on. So I sent away for it. I received it and thought it was cute. It was small, I wasn't sure my teeth would fit, making it easy to find a space for it. I also noticed you can use the plug or batteries. I cleaned it and then set it up. I put the water and my teeth in, (they fit perfectly!), dropped in a cleaning tablet and let it run. It does make a noise but I didn't find it loud. Before I knew it, it was done. It worked great! But I held off writing the review until I used it a few weeks. I absolutely love it. It works great. It doesn't take up much space. It is super easy to use in the home and on trips! I think it is well worth investing in one. If you are thinking of getting one, go ahead and get it. It does the job and looks nice too. Thumbs up!

Pro:
1) You can visibly see the difference after a cleaning
2) Easy to use and clean
3) Peace in knowing my mouth guard is truly clean!
Con:
1) Flimsy charger that doesn't stay in place
2) My first machine worked great the first several months, but then started malfunctioning. I did enjoy it so much that I ordered a second despite that!
