Great Product, Great Company...Little Improvement needed

Hi Microcenter,
I have been a customer with your company for many years, y'all have never let me down. This time around, i'm just questioning weather or not the advertising of these 64GB sticks are actually 64GB.
Out of the 5.. 1 shows 51.2GBs as the other 4 show as 57.7GB when I insert them into my PC. I don't want to complain much about this, but the quality control your company may need a small tweak. I still respect the GBs held in these sticks...but I just want to give you guys a heads up for any potential buyers that may bring bigger complaints.

large and cheap, if maybe a bit slow

64 gb usb 3.1 drive for like $4 each? What is not to like? I tried a couple, and they seem to work fine. My only gripes are the caps are removable, and can be lost. And the write speeds are nothing to write home about (see what I did there?). I tried a couple of drives, and they all write at about 20MBps for maybe 15 seconds, and then drop to 8 for the remainder of the transfer.
These are fast enough to run Chrome Flex OS
Monty✓ Verified Purchase•August 28, 2023
A year or so ago these units were priced higher than other 32gig products. I bought the cheaper ones. They were so slow, Chrome Flex OS would not run on them. I had bought a couple of these Micro Center units and the difference was day and night. I installed Chrome Flex OS on the Micro Center unit, plugged it into my 13 year old Toshiba laptop and it booted and ran with great response time. These units also work better in my vehicles that play MP3s from integrated USB. I bought the ten pack of these now because the price has dropped over time.
I have a pile of these
Scott✓ Verified Purchase•August 2, 2023
Why do I have a pile, you ask? Well, they store 128 GIGABYTES. That's a buttload. That's like, a ton of ripped movies. It's half the size of my previous SSD, 1/4 of my present one. It's a nice, portable, mass storage device.
I don't rely on these as my backup device. We've all had USB drives fail. But they are a great short term backup and portable mass storage devices. I carry a lot of movie choices with me when I travel on just one of these. I have whole 3D kickstarter campaign purchases on these. And for less than $10 each, I'll keep buying them.

BEST FLASH GOING BETWEEN DEVICES
Diana Dewolf✓ Verified Purchase•July 27, 2023
It has flashing red light when you first insert it into any system. When it stops flashing, this tells you the drive is ready to download or upload any data or image. I find this useful when going between printers, scanners, different data bases and so on. Unlike a lot of flash drives, that little red flashing light also tells you when an image or scan has finishing loading. I don't like guessing when a download has been completed. I now just watch for when the red light stops blinking and then I always know it is SAFE to remove the flash drive from the scanner (or whatever device). These are speedy too. Love them. The only disadvantage is the cap -- it is not a slider and the cap is not attached. The cap comes off and that's how you can lose the caps. That does not annoy me actually as I always dump extra caps into a small tray in my drawer and pop the caps back on when not in use. It's not like losing the lid to a treasure box so this one flaw is purely MINOR. The advantage of that little red flashing light IS why I use them -- no mishaps!!!
