Holds up thigh highs very well
Not good for sweater socks

My problems could be caused by the material of my socks being like a sweater rather than usual socks, so that's all I can speak for. If that's the material you have, I don't recommend these. Here's why:
They don't help much unless I'm sitting still. And that... Just isn't the point. I'd like to move in them lol. I have to make them incredibly tight to be somewhat affective, but after a short period of wearing them like that, my thigh is very uncomfortable due to the tightness and they still slide down.
I've tried putting the belts over the socks with the top folded once so that there was more cushioning from the tightness and possibly they'd stay up easier, but that didn't seem to make a difference.
I would give these a 2 but I haven't tried them with socks of a regular material, so I feel that's unfair. This is just my review based on my socks being a sweater material.
