I make homemade dog food for our 3 rescue pups (Dutch Shepherd, Blue Heeler, and Jorkie). This is PERFECT for making a big batch of food for them. I usually cook using 6lbs of various meats, liver, veggies, brown rice, sweet potato, and add in extra calcium and other goodies for a well balanaced meal for our pups.
This cooker is BIG. Make sure you have adequate counter space and place to store when not in use. It is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Can't speak highly enough of this pot. Love it.
