Best Chili Starter Mix!

This is a great way to create your home made pot of chili beans. I start with this, then add stew meat, canned tomatoes with chili's, 1 can each pinto and kidney beans, onions, garlic and whatever else I might have around the kitchen. The family loves it! Nice, warm, one-pot meal. Throw in some cornbread on the side and you're all set!

Oh my we really like Bear Creek soups. Darn Good Chili doesn't really have that "chili" taste with alot of chili powder n it but I like it that way because I can add more chili powder to my liking. The way I cook mine is n the crock pot with cooked 2# ground beef (or however much u like) & 6oz tomato paste & a can of diced tomatoes. This makes lots of chili so I can freeze some for later. We also bot the Creamy Potato Soup. Yummy. Now this one I also did n crock pot with 7c microwave hot water. I added a 32oz bag of frozen diced hash browns cause I like potatoes then just b4 ready to eat I add 1cup of milk (or evaporated milk). This makes it real rich & creamy. Perfect. Also make a lot so grandma & pa got some too. I bot the cheesy broccoli, tortilla, chicken noodle also but haven't made them yet. But I will review them also. U can't beat the price. Great value. So if ur low on $ or ur snowed n this winter stock ur pantry with these soups, you won't be disappointed.

Chili MIx

This was a delicious Chili mix. SOOOO worth the few dollars spent. It asked you to add tomato paste, I was out. Instead I added ketchup (which I do to most soups that I make homemade) & it was delicious. Is a bit spicy, not much I'm a wimp, so I added pasta. Can also add rice. There is so much that you can do with this product. I love it, & have already reordered for a potluck.
Delicious & easy

This chili is excellent. I usually make it with four chicken thighs, but sometimes I make it with ground beef. Both versions are delicious and easy.
I have been using this brand for decades, even before the name was changed to "Darn" instead of the cuss word. :)
