Love this wheel, but.... OK, so I got used to it fairly quick, and was riding it within a week... but now its just a bit slow for me, seems like a toy now, I did buy a V11, and I use this one for when i go to the boardwalk where a lot of people are... but its great, silent and fun to ride... Great for those just looking to learn.. but you will want to go a little faster once you learn.. But I still give it a lot of stars because its sturdy, works well and super duper fun to ride!!! try it you will love it!!!
Not easy

I really don't like the button on the handle. You pick it up and it goes to max wheel speed. Says danger slow down and then shuts off. No way to pick it up without pressing the button. Make some way to turn the button off!
Start to woble at 8mph

Got it at a good price9(4stars). Good for beginner( not too expensive when you trashed it 5stars). Pretty durable( 4 stars some broken plastic and scratches collect over time easily). Speed wobble starts from 8mph and up so I have to slow down. In reality I can't reach speed 10mh with out falling down due to shaking. The wheel is too thin to get a grip on using my knee and legs. Also I notice that when the wheel spin fast, it produce a lot of vibration which starts the speed wobble. I did not have a lot of falling down since I just jump off where ever feel unsafe. 399$ is not worth it to keep so you have a broken knee. So I rather just let the wheel crashed without me. It does withstand my abuse pretty good though many parts as cover and pads is being destroyed in the process.
V5F - Impressive and great for a beginner!

This is an impressive machine! Never would I have imagined that in my life I'd be able to stand on a couple foot-sized platforms with a wheel between my legs and go 15 mph after 3 days of practice. Whew! If you are on the fence about this purchase, don't be. This is impressive tech.
A couple tips:
- If you are a beginner like me (and why else would you buy this wheel if you are not a beginner...?), buy a cover. We've beat the heck out of this machine. And though it's designed to crash, we've broken the plastic (cracks) in about 3 places along with plenty of scuffs and scrapes. A cover would have helped to save the body of this machine. We got one almost too late, after about 3-4 days of 3 people learning to ride an EUC.
- If you aren't willing to put in the practice to learn to ride, don't buy it. My kids learned faster than I did but it still took them about 3 days before they were zipping around the driveway somewhat confidently. This is similar to riding a bike for the first time. It just takes a bit of practice.
- Watch YT videos on learning to ride. I picked up several good tips to help me learn to ride the EUC from YT videos. This was very helpful.
- Make sure the tire is pumped up to the min suggested psi. It's much easier (for me) to ride when the tire is full but on the bottom end of the recommended psi.
If you are considering an EUC vs a one-wheel vs a hover board, go with the EUC. There are several reasons why. In short, this goes faster for a longer period and is much more versatile in terms of the conditions and terrain in which you can ride. It takes more practice and is perhaps more expensive depending on the make/model you are considering. I made the right decision and would recommend this wheel.

The media could not be loaded. I learned to ride electric unicycle on this machine and afer 8 weeks ride it well. It carves on asphalt like a demon go kart. Drop tire pressure to 18 lbs and it rules the grass. I hav 350 miles on it now, can ride it backwards almost as easily as i can ride it forwards now. Hav had only 2 major crashes. Hindsight from those crashes: know when to get OFF the wheel ! Never ride it into the ground on one foot, as fall progresses: learn to jump off and land on both feet and u will never fall again. Secondly, mud/slicked anything is a death sentence ðŸ'‚. Dont do it !! 😃.
This week i was lent an Inmotion V11: 35 mph & 60 lbs. Well, this is a fact: the little V5 has WAY stronger braking. Also, the little V5 feels more powerful when rising it in a 100x100' area. Why? Because the V11 computer buffers its tremendous power when starting off. As a result, it feels quite aluggish compared to zippy V11. Understand, a unicycle does not suffer the foolish for long. Be careful and smart 😉.
