It comes with a total of 32 different wheels but you get 2-4 of each shape or design, which is nice, because you always have a backup should one get lost. To use all you have to do is select the shape or design you want and pop it in. Then load your favorite dough into the cylinder and squeeze the "trigger" on the cookie maker. The dough comes out easily and uses just the right amount of dough each time. This makes baking your cookies more uniform in shape and time baking.
