Kreg, is there another pocket-hole jig?

I don't drill a ton of pocket holes so I bought this jig because it is Kreg and they are really good at this. This jig does everything you need and want it to do. It is easy to use and Kreg makes sure you have all the information you need to be drilling in no time. This package included the clamp which made things easier and less expensive. You will need a clamp (either this one or another that will work with this jig.
While I love this jig, if I had to do it all over again I would have bought the Kreg jig with the built in clamping system and the dust extraction. It is easy but it does take some time to mess around with this model to clamp it in place; and if you're drilling lots of pocket holes it gets annoying.
So light duty, this is your jig; more than light duty, step it up to the jig with more bells and whistles.

Make your project stronger, use kreg screws and you won't have a bit of a bit problems. Use glue for added strength. The clamp that you can buy with the jig will make using the tool a lot less of a hassle.

If you use lot of pocket holes for your project then this is a must in your toolbox. Love it so much that I use pocket joinery more often now in my projects. Don't compromise with other cheap pocket hole jigs. Very much recommend it.
