Bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. Took awhile to charge fully, but worked very well. Instruction manual is lengthy, so I'd recommend you find your set of features for normal use and set them up. Full manual is an online download. Came equipped with the SD card, case, strap, and an SD card adapter to plug into your desktop. This is a good camera for the periodic photographer.
