Despite the fact that most tabletop games that require more than a single type of die tend to require multiples of the d6 more than almost any other type (especially D&D, as the d6 is used for lots of damage rolls as well as character creation - only the d20 is used more often and you rarely need more than one of THOSE at a time), sets of dice almost ALWAYS come with only ONE d6. So it's common for me to be on the lookout for unique, interesting, useful sets of d6s, as they're very useful.

This particular set is a lot of fun; it's hard to imagine mixing them with the dice of someone else at the table due to their unique shape, they're solid and easy to notice when held and rolled, and the bullet-shape makes using them just FUN. They have a heft similar enough to an actual .38 cartridge that it's nice and authentic feeling, too... I'd really love to use these in some kind of Wild West or post-apocalyptic campaign.

These look really aesthetically pleasing, and they are perfect for what I got them for (Monster of the Week game). They have a really good weight to them, and my group loves them. That being said, you should probably use a roll mat with them. The weight will probably dent wooden tables. They do roll a little awkwardly because of the shape, but that was to be expected.
