I used it three times since I got it and I'm super happy with it (so far). I made three different kinds of milk and all tasted great and had a nice creamy consistency (oat, almond & rice - almond). The milk doesn't separate what made me happy.
It's a bit tricky to clean since the machine can get wet only inside but if you rinse it right after use it is easy.
Only complaint is the book with recipes, I think is not assembled properly and recipes are mixed up, but it's easy to use, basically 4 Tablespoons of any nuts / grain and 550 of water.

I use Almond and/or Oat milk every morning for my morning smoothie. One morning I was reading the ingredient list on the Almond Milk and thought there were a lot of things not necessary. I wasn't ready to spend hundreds of dollars on a nut milk maker, but for $50 after a discount on this item, I figured I couldn't lose.

This does make smaller batches than some of the others, but its just me so its fine. I've tried almond milk with and without soaking. You get a slightly creamier/less sediment milk if you soak, but its just fine when I put it in a smoothie. I've also just used a fine mesh strainer to make it a little smoother if I want to drink the milk.

Best part - only two ingredients - Almonds (or Oats, or other nuts) and filtered water.

You can't submerse the machine and it doesn't come apart so clean up needs to happen immediately after you empty the machine - but i just rinse quickly, wipe out and dry.

Definitely worth the price.

Excellent! Easy to use

What I like about this product is that I now know all the ingredients that go into my homemade almond milk. I can make a fresh batch and a half hour whenever I need it and don't have to lug heavy boxes of pre-made chemical laden almond milk from the store. The machine is very easy to use if you follow the directions. Once I was not careful and didn't close the lid all the way so I had a bit of a mess, but that was 100% user error and not a defect or problem with the machine itself. It was 100% my error. This is a very easy product to use and I highly recommend it to make your own homemade nut milks at a fraction of the price.

Super simple to make your own almond milk for ice cold coffee, health shakes.

The steps they give are for soy bean which is not why we purchased this.
Just measure out 1/2 cup unsalted almonds, pour into a small plastic container. Just fill to the top of the nuts with water, close lid, stick in fridge for 48 hours to soften them up which also creates a creamier finish. Strain the nuts with running cold water, don't use the water that soaked them as this contains some acids that will ruin the milk and taste awful too!
Add the strained nuts, then add cold water to the "cold water" setting etched inside maker.
Set to "Room Temp" on the nut milk maker and let it do its job.

When finished, use a fine steel mesh strainer which can be found on here, not one of those fabric/muslin strainers (too messy) and let it collect in the strainer container and gently extract any leftovers by pushing the pulp through the steel gauze until you are left with just nut pulp, which can be used in making cookies etc.
Keep the almond milk chilled. Should last a few days. Just remember to give the milk a shake between uses.
