i added aftermarket plastic protecting but after 2 weeks i cracked the front panel because the wheel cutoff on me while i was turning on a berm.
i have gone 30 mph pretty comfy. great going up curbs and stairs. just don't ever hit turns hard on a bank or you might get thrown off and destroy your new wheel.
wish there was a stunt mode to fix it or something like that.

Crazy torque and great speed. Getting 40-50 miles range depending on how aggressive I ride it. Put on 250 miles in 4 days that's how addictive it is to ride. Power pads are a must for this wheel to really unleash it full potential. I can easily and comfortable cruise at 25-30mph and this wheel maneuvers like a dream. The highest pedal setting gets pretty sketchy over 25 so I put it on the middle setting and it has been great and provides plenty of clearance for hitting MTB trails as well as great stability. Still getting used to the wheel in general but I feel like this wheel checks all the boxes for me. Absolute killer wheel and look forward to putting many many more miles on it.
Edit after 1 year: I've got just under 2,000 miles on my v12ht and have only had issue with a few bolts coming loose and had to repack the bearings after a VERY wet ride. Still LOVE this wheel.
