Used for a full knee replacement. Works as designed. gets very cold and holds it for 30 minutes. Word to the wise, the XXL is just barely large enough for a 5:10" guy with modest size thighs. The recess for the knee itself was key as the top of the knee was too sensitive for ice or pressure. The Gel Wraps that I used previously to surgery could not work. I am sensitive to cold and had to use a light hand towel between the skin and the ice wrap. They do get some frost on the outside, even in a dry climate, so we placed a towel beneath the leg to adsorb that wetness.

Ordered this for my husband after he tore his knee up. He has large legs and even the doctor had a hard time finding a brace to fit him, but this is super! The straps are long enough with room to spare and it is so easy to use, chill it, wrap it on and done. Stays cold fora long time. It was so reasonably priced compared to some offered at much higher price and they were way too small and so thin that they only stayed cold for very short time.

Bought the xxl due to swollen leg after surgery. I took it to work as well. Love the soft cloth underside. It's velvety. I throw it in the freezer and then use. It does fall down if you try to walk with it on"¦but I bought it to heal after knee surgery

This ice pack is great for elevation and icing! Just had a knee replacement and this workhorse is getting the job done. I have to do that several times a day and works tons better than the "frozen peas". that was idiotically suggested in this video I had to watch prop.
Stays on the knee well while icing. No slippage. Just leave it out a minute or two after it's frozen and it will mold better to your knee. It wraps all the way around. I chose this item in favor of the $300 rental ice machine. I've been told that works great but it's your decision.
