We got my son a basketball hoop for the driveway in December. Even though the one we bought comes with an area for sand or water, we got this as well. This was very easy to install-- you just put it over the base of the basketball stand and fill it with sand. We didn't end up using some of the straps because it seemed like overkill. So far- after 6 months, it is doing it's job!
Inner bags are thicker than I expected.

This would make a great portable basketball base weight but that's not why I got it. I decided to try this to replace from the worn out sand bags that are hidden inside my offset umbrella base. They're broken at the seems and sand is leaking out from below the base.
The inner bags of this base weight kit are actually thicker than I expected. I also expected them to be some sort of vinyl plastic but they are canvas like an actual sandbag and that's fantastic. They are also longer than I expected which was a concern since there's a lot of sand to transfer.
The outer bag that is seen on top of the base I won't be using since my umbrella base has doors for hiding the sand bags inside. That said, it's a very thick nylon outdoor fabric material and seems durable but should be rolled to shade or out of the sun to extend it's lifetime. All of the stitching and buckles on the shell are complete and without flaws.
This turned out to be better than I thought it would be and it is heavy duty as described. It's got a lot of ways it can be utilized for various weigh down requirements. 5 stars from me.
