Easy to use, no way to ruin a dish. My Wolfgang Puck 5 qt. went kaput after 7 years of abuse, great pot. Instant Pot was on sale, got me one. It's really a great pot, easy to use, clean. Only one thing:. Instant it's not. My WP was really fast heating up. The IP takes a while, about 25 minutes after setting the lid on. Plus the cooking time. But it's OK. I'm really enjoying this IP. Hope it lasts like my old one.

I used a standard crock pot with 2 settings before this purchase. I was a little intimidated when I tried to make my first meal but now I use it 2 to 3 times a week. Perfect size (6qt) for a small family and is easy to clean.

Can cook a variety of foods and , for the most part , you do not need to closely monitor the process.
Although recently it did slightly burn some frozen chicken I was cooking in it. This is a replacement for an original Instant Pot that I gave away
and it never burned frozen chicken.
I like this for making yogurt, but the owners manual in one place says use the Low setting for fermentation ,but in another place says use the Medium setting. My experience is that the Medium setting works much better than Low for fermentation .
Also, add one packet ( enough to make one qt) of dry powder milk to each qt of milk you are processing
This device does a great job boiling eggs also.
