Nice low price for a 2nd HD Smart TV in my library, but the TV is very light weight construction and fragile, and I shattered the thin unprotected digital screen just handling it to install the screw-in feet stand. It needs a strong polycarbonate front screen or glass to protect it from life's bumps and bruises. Thankful Amazon's return policy quickly provided me a prepaid return UPS Shipping Label and and Replacement TV arrived the next day. So save all the origal packagung just in case.

You will need access to an Email and iPhone /Computer to set up all the Smart TV's WiFi account Apps for Google, YouTube, Netflix, etc. The replacement TV is working fine.

I was in the market for a 32 inch television for my bedroom and discovered that TCL had two full HD tvs, a Roku and a google tv set. As I already had a Roku Streambar, which I was going to continue to use as a soundbar, It made sense to go for the Google TV. Adding weight to the decision, the Google set comes with an ethernet port and the Roku doesn't.

How does the TCL 32S356 perform?
Picture - The 32S356 comes with a full HD panel and the picture is sharp, clear and bright, I am very pleased with it. The tv is best viewed straight on as the colors are less bright at an angle. The tv also picked up when accessing an HDR10 source and informs you that it is running HDR.
Digital Tuner - Although this carries less weight on my part as I am using the tv for streaming, the digital tuner appears to be excellent. It picked up all the major channels and more subchannels than I was aware existed.
Streaming - I'm familiar with the Google TV service, my downstairs television has a Chromecast with Google TV streaming device. I knew that the TV would access every streaming channel I use. I find the TCL tv to be very responsive. Initial setup takes a while as you will have to download the current software and download any apps that you're installing. Once set up, the tv starts quickly and apps load very quickly.
Sound - As I had mentioned at the top, I was planning to use the Roku Streambar as a sound bar. Using the HDMI ARC port, setup was painless. The TV immediately sensed that it was connected to the Streambar. I then disabled the soundbar to try the internal speakers. It's here that the tv falls short. That said, the internal speakers are adequate, with sufficient volume and clear audio. The frequency response is where the speakers fall short, with no bottom end, the speakers sound a bit tinny. Without a soundbar, the tv would still be adequate for viewing, but the tv really benefits from an external soundbar.

Overall, I am very pleased with my TCL television. It does everything well and is the perfect fit for a bedroom.

I had not heard of TCL prior to receiving this 32" Google TV. (I've since seen them everywhere) I was a network engineer for years, and I can tell you the integration with Google Assistant is seemless. Some notable features are; a built-in chromecast adapter which saved me $40, when you connect a Bluetooth speaker, and select both the Internal and BT speakers, the volume control let's you control them Individually, and adjust the timing to sync them. It also has a simple menu, and gives you the ability to simply enjoy the defaults, or tweak the display and sound almost professionally. Picture is adequate, not spectacular, but the price and features make it a great small bedroom or kitchen Display. It's like a 32" Google Hub (really) Max. Only downside I found was that you can't rename the chromcast device. It's name is a long number that might get confusing if you had more than one.

I also really like the built in google play.
