IM tell you this is a heavy well made,super quiet,trimmer.It trims accurately smooth and gets down pretty darn close.It not meant for shaving like a razor does,thats not what a trimmer is,its for getting the heavy thick hair down to a stubble but this goes even further than a stubble.It trims perfectly around the sideburns and I cut my hair with it today.trimmed all the hair off my head and it cut like a champ.use a few dots of the oil on the blades once and a while to keep it smooth and reduce friction.Also let the trimmer do the work,dont rush the movment,if you go at a slow to medium pace it will cut it all in one pass.This thing is just so heavy,Its a real Mans trimmer I say.I just bought 2 more to keep for the furture becuase I could not find a trimmer that was worth a SXXT unit i found this one.I love the display charger indicator,man this is awesome.Buy yourself a few so you never have to look for one again.I got my 3,IM good,Thanks

I bought this two months ago to "shave" my face daily and figured I would give it a review once I had cycled through a whole charge. I use it 60-90 seconds a day and was amazed at what seemed to be the little power it was consuming. After 60 days the trimmer was still at 59%. This morning, halfway through a shave, it went from 58% to 0% instantly and cut off. I'm not dissatisfied with the usage time on a charge and I love the trimmer. I am a bit worried about the potential issue that would cause the electronics to pogo around like that. Yes, I fully charged it prior to use. Yes, it seems to be taking a charge now. No, I won't leave it charging while unattended!
I would definitely recommend the trimmer especially for the price. It seems to be a very solid trimmer that can cut all the way down to 0.5mm. Good luck! I'll edit if anything changes for the better or worse.

I think most people think "zero gap" means it shaves as close as a razor. No beard trimmer will shave that close, but this trimmer will get very close to it. The motor is stronger than most others on Amazon. It works very well! The only minor con is that it is a little bit on the heavy side, but it's fine. I'm very happy with this purchase.
