It's a good rack. I'm storing 3 heavy kayaks on it. 2 wilderness systems Tarpon 120s and a Wilderness Systems Ride 115. I don't know how it would do with a fourth heavy duty kayak on it but if you have pelicans or a lighter brand or just 10 foot kayaks, then I could see it holding 4. It is a little shaky when you bump it or touch it but still seems fine.

we like this rack. we stored our three kayaks (one double and two singles) in the shed. now they are by our trail to the pond, and we have a nice display to boot. it will help to have two people put this together. it is very sturdy. since it was going to be in the woods, we put in two short lines of bricks underneath to support the two sides.
