Used this for garage storage. Assembly was awkward, but doable (much easier with a second person). The shelves are widely spaced wires which, while strong enough, let just about anything but boxes fall through.
However, if one saves the teo pieces of double thick cardboard used to separate the components in the box, they form serviceable surfaces for two of the shelves.

I really like this shelving unit. I rent so I couldn't install sturdy clamp racks in my home; I needed more horizontal space for the longer clamps, so 2 units side by side instead of 1 tall unit worked best for me; plus it's twice the space on top for tool bags. I even like the little hammer it came with. I'll keep that for small tacks and plastic and rubber furniture feet, where a hammer would be too big to bang with. I opted for the sturdy wire shelves, so I wouldn't have to constantly dust; but if you have small items, they may fall through; the set with the plywood shelving may be best for you.

Very easy to assemble and steaight forward. I got them for my garage the shelf hight is adjustable for the most part except the top bottom and middle shelf. Check detentions for your space the shelves arnt very wide so only certain kinds of totes will fit on them if that's your plan. Very sturdy can hold quite a bit of weight.

Bought these shelves as part of a shop reorg. Wanted to get the fuel and gas cans up off the floor. This unit worked perfectly. I did add 5" high 3/4 plywood strips across the end to keep things from working their way off the ends of the shelves. It also makes it impossible for the shelves to disengage from they brackets.
