NO INSTRUCTIONS WITH POINTERS

As noted in the headline, no instructions are included. The batteries go into the battery compartment with the + terminal pointed down towards the bottom of the battery holder. The negative battery end contacts the spring on the laser pointer assembly with the operating switch. Also the green pointer in my set has different threading on the two parts than the red and blue laser pointers do so the battery holders are not interchangeable between all 3 units. DUMB! All do work as expected though the green unit is the brightest with the red quite bright and the blue one the dimmest. Considering eye color sensitivity this is pretty much as expected. I installed Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries in mine as they should last the longest and work better at cold temperatures.

The price is right for 3 lasers. Only tried 2 if the 3. Staying with the red color. The purplish one kind of shows blurry but my cat stills enjoys it. My hand gets tired holding the button down. I think I will look and see if the have one that switches on & off. I have Arthritis in my hands so I can't play long with my little one holding the button down. But all in all they work and my meowmeow enjoys chasing the red dot. Enjoy to watch.

1) playing with my cats.
2) pointing out climbing holds at the climbing gym for my team kids.
So far, they work pretty well for my two uses. I knew they weren't going to be bombproof when I bought them, so I try to handle with care and they haven't broken in a few months of purchase.
I will agree that the green light is really bright and probably not the best to use on your pets; stick with the red one for that. It's visible outdoors during the daytime, which is nice.

Bought these to play with our cat. The red laser is best and the cat tends to play better with that one. The green laser is very bright. Almost too bright. We have shiny tile floors and the lasers reflect off the floor and onto the wall so it sometimes confuses our cat. The blue laser is not very bright and is actually kind of hard to see. I didn't really need 3 colors, but bought this cause it was a good deal.
