If you have 2 or more kids this is perfect. Everything else we seen is small and pointless we bought this and it was perfect but you will need alot of sand at least 15 to 20 bags. The cover is Olay which is why I recommend alot of sand the more you have the less it sags in the rain but it does keep the rain out we originally started with only 10 bags of sand and a bad storm the cover stayed on and had a good 6 inches of water on top. Themat being said don't make the mistake I did and try to lift the cover to one side hahaha because it will pop off and water will go inside keep a bucket or cup handy to scoop the water out or as I said use more sand to keep the sagging to a minimal. We also use bag rocks around the box as we seen horror stories of the containers of other bust at the corners but this one is well secured and sturdy we just did the rocks for extra measure and appeal. OVERALL BUY THIS YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. our 3rd is on the way and there will be plenty of room for her to enjoy the box as well.

This is a very cute sandbox, easy enough to assemble, but not as sturdy as is indicated in the description. The top won't stay put, it keeps sliding down.

I think this sandbox is exactly what I was expecting. I only need it to last a few years and I think it will do that. It assembled fairly easily but the wood is thin and lightweight so be careful not to over tighten the screws. The stain color is as pictured on my screen - a chestnut orange brown. The canopy slides up and down to keep out critters like cats or rabbits perhaps. It doesn't fit so tightly to keep out anything that wants to crawl in such as spiders or snakes perhaps. Also rain puddles on top so after a rain you will have to dump the top and it pretty much just goes inside the sides of sandbox. It wasn't that much money relatively speaking so I got what I paid for. And hope for a few years my grandkids, while young, will enjoy it when they visit.
