The headsets work, volume won't rock your world but sufficient. The controls get a little wonky if they don't turn on together. Battery lasted a lot longer than I expected. 4 ski days without a charge! I would buy them again.

Let me start by saying I hate my ODT chips; only because I've gone through so many pairs and they don't seem to last. I really wanted to love these.
The sound quality is GREAT. Much deeper and richer bass than the ODTs. But they're also about twice as thick. They technically fit inside the pockets of my Smith helmet, but it's not comfortable. They're pressed right up against my ears and after a full day that's going to be obnoxious.
The lack of volume control isn't a big deal, presuming you're using a voice assistant (eg Siri). But what's wonky is that if you use your voice assistant in constant listen mode, these headphones don't playback the voice response: it routes to your phone speaker instead. Voice assistants do work through the headphones, but only if you triple press to activate it from the headphones first. Kind of a weird choice. But that should work fine if you're the kind of person that wants to manually activate voice assistance.
I'd recommend these if you've got a lot of space between your ears and your helmet ear pads. Great price for what you get! I thought I had enough room, but not enough to support these comfortably in mine.
For now, I'll continue searching for an alternative to the ODTs.

Just received my Unigear wireless chips, what a steal...I mean deal. Best bang for the buck when it comes to helmet audio chips. True wireless and, It took all but 60 seconds to figure out how to pair the speakers 1st with each other, then pairing to my phone. They slipped right into the ear pads on my Prett Fury X ski helmet like a glove. Sound quality is better then my POC Obex Communication helmet with built it speakers, that's all I have to compare them to. The unigear chips sound is more clear, they have more bass and, are louder. The ease of operation is simple, answering calls and, denying calls all done with a push of a button and, a vocal "do" or "do" "do". I'll add more to my review of the battery life, connection stability and, durability after a day on the slopes.

The speakers sound good and have plenty of volume for my needs. I just want some background noise while I'm riding but still want to be able to hear around me and have conversations with people on the lift. The speakers easily fit in my helmet ear pads and don't cause any discomfort. Battery life appears to be sufficient. I've only used them twice so far. One day was for 5-6 hours and had no issues. They come with a nice carry case as well. The only drawback to these that keeps me from giving them 5stars is the charging cable. Each speaker attaches to a part of the cable with a couple little magnetic connection points that easily comes off. They have to be laying on a perfectly flat surface and even then the cable sometimes comes loose. It's quite annoying. I don't understand why the manufacturer didn't use a microUSB connection point. That would have been a better option in my opinion.
