Setup was easy and everything after putting it together. Tested the different RPM settings and the 2,300 RPM is good for drilling and Forstner bits"¦definitely need a drill vise for small work. I searched for weeks for a good used drill press and had no luck. I did look at the box stores"¦worthless pieces of plastic. This drill press is solid, heavy, well put together, and feels like a heavy duty machine even though it is a table to model. The only "cheap" piece in the whole rig is the miter gauge, I will use a decent one I have. Not too impressed with the depth gauge, more of a nut lock that doesn't stay locked very well so I'll use painter's tape. The light is good, the laser is OK but you need to turn off the drill light to see it easily. I hope to get many years out of this piece.
