I wanted plastic wrap that was extra-wide with the slide closure, so I looked all over Amazon and found this package with 2,000 feet by 18". I knew it would be overkill, but it was the only product that really matched my list of wants. It came in a couple of days ago and I found a place to put it in the kitchen; used it that night and it worked very well. It has a plastic core-holder so it is stable. i had a little difficulty getting it started when pulling out the first piece, but that will likely improve with use. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Thicker and very clingy, so good quality there. The flap on the box could be better/stronger. Plastic cutting track could be longer and have some adhesive to keep it in place. Big box & roll size is a challenge in a small kitchen.

This has become my new favorite wrap. While it seems thinner than most other wraps, it actually is more resistant to puncture. It has more stretch and is "softer" and less "krinkly" than the others too. Almost a rubber-like consistency.
The only downside is that it can be a little hard to get started on the roll because it sticks so well to itself. But this stickiness can also be a feature, depending on what you are doing with it. In my case, it's a benefit.
