This tool works wonderfully! I have weak/fragile hand joints so cutting my quilt fabric is torture and can leave me in pain for days. This really minimizes strain, but doesn't eliminate it. It still takes some grip and finger strength. I'd say it reduces hand strain by ~ 1/3 -1/2. It can also be very hard to get a clean sharp line. The cutter is so fast and strong it can "chew" the fabric a bit. There is skill to using it and it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it and get good clean cut.

My trash collector will not pick up flattened boxes like old company used to do. They have to be cut down and put in can. This is only thing Ive found that works and it's great

Save your money. I bought this as a Father's Day gift, several weeks ahead. Gifted. Used once. Now will not turn on after the first charge. Return window closed.
Update: the screw holding the blade on was too tight. My husband fiddled with it before throwing it out. Works as it should now.

Cordless Electric Scissors, SnapFresh 4V Electric Mini Cutter, Rotary Cutter for Fabric and Cloth, Carpet and Cardboard Cutter with a Replacement Blade - Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I haven't cut cloth or paper with it.
My main need - slicing an abundance of cardboard boxes that I have accumulated over many years of "Keep the box until the warranty expires". And I sliced boxes of products whose warranty expired 5 or 6 years ago.
The only difficulty that I've had is that a few of the boxes were very thick, and while this product did slice them, I had to struggle a bit with the angle at which I held the device so that it got a good hold, and then proceed slowly so as not to overload the motor and blade.
If I encounter any real problems, I will update this. But thus far, I'm glad to have this within easy reach for any box slicing that is necessary.
