I bought 2 balls for my son and also as a present. This toy is for the whole family to enjoy. As soon as you learn how to operate all the functions, you can't stop playing. A big plus are the batteries, usually when you buy a battery operated toy, you have to buy the batteries too, this ball had everything included. Thank you for such an amazing toy.

the main reason I want this toy is that the whole family can play outside after a long day of work/school. when playing you have to look up, focus on the flying ball, and move to the direction in case it does not go the way you want to and catch it before it lands on the ground. my family usually count how many times each can catch before the first drop on the ground, and it's quite relaxing to see kids chasing and jumping.
the ball is pretty easy to turn on, and my kids and I can quickly master the way to get it flying back after 2/3 time trys. it's very solid/robust -- there are quite a few times we threw it away and did not catch it and landed on the concrete pretty badly after hitting the wall. surprisingly that did not leave any single scratch on the ball and it flies as far and high as usual without any issue. originally I thought it's a light activity to play, but turns out it's quite decent considering I have to consistently move/jump/catch/throw -- normally I sweat lightly after 10+ minutes playing. the only (minor) complaint is to give it a larger battery so that I can play longer when out for hiking; but if just play around the community/house then I am pretty happy about it.
