heat is an issue in any server rack. installing this was a no-brainer, clip it in, plug it in, and turn it on. the LCD is very bright and easy to understand. I didn't read the directions and was able to set the temperatures and speed settings.

I love this fan. Easy to install and program. It is a little bit loud but works really well. I would have given 5 stars, but Amazon sent me an obvious return from someone else. They obviously did not check the return from another customer before sending it to me. One of the mounting brackets on the side was bent and the hardware bag was ripped open and empty. Luckily I am pretty handy and bent the mounting bracket back to being fairly straight and used different screws that I had to mount the fan. I wasn't about to bother returning it. Overall, I would recommend this unit.
