I originally was going to pickup the new Mackie Thumps but, the price point against quality is astronomical. There has been another type of speaker on my mind for over 2 years (this company), and recently they came out with this new line that blows Mackie speakers right out of the water when it comes to clarity of sounds, and low end. I set these up when they arrived. All I have to say is OMG! They sound just as good if not better than most speakers at this price point! The bass is hard, and clear! Plenty of power that does not rob your vehicle of space when transporting! The speakers are about 33 pounds each. 3 handles, beautiful construction, high quality! Perfect for DJ's and/or bands looking to pack a punch! I'm considering picking up the smaller ones as they are even pretty high powered for more compact setups! Move over JBL, Mackie, and QSC! Alto Professional donesn't play!

Also, I know the price is a little high for them but, get the protective covers for them! You'll thank me later!

I have a pair of these and gig multiple times a week with them. Smaller rooms (40 or less) I use one as a main and larger rooms I use the pair. These things are light for the power they put out and I've never gotten them up high enough to hear anything but clear, crisp, flat response even in a room with 200. Best bang for the buck out there.

I considered every make/model of 10" and 12" powered PA speaker on the market - Mackie Thump, Mackie Thrash, Proreck, Monoprice, Samson, etc.
With prices so close, I was struggling to decide as the decision boiled down to features and reviews. It was down to the Mackie Thump 212 and the Alto TS410, and I just decided to go with the Alto based upon slightly higher reviews. I couldn't have picked better. This speaker has a great full sound. For a 12" speaker, it pushes some great bass. It's got a pleasant sound that doesn't overemphasize certain frequencies in ways that sound either muddy or harsh.
The inputs gave me great flexibility when I used it to amplify my wireless microphone system for a speaking engagement. Also, I was able to set a sweet spot with the volume that made it loud enough to carry the room but controlled enough that I was able to walk right up to it with my head worn mic without producing any feedback at all.
The mobile app is great too, allowing me lots of flexibility with the EQ choices and remote control of the Bluetooth volume level. This also makes it a pretty awesome party speaker.
I fully intend to buy a second TS410 to pair with this one and run stereo off my Mackie FX mixer.
I'd recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, full volumed, feature laden powered PA speaker. For the money, I don't think you'll find better.

I purchased the Ts410 to use as a drum amp. It sounds great. I've noticed it has a very bass-heavy sound. To even out the frequency response I used 3 overlapping bands of parametric eq to lower the bass. This does the trick. This would have been easier if I could have made deeper cuts but I think each was limited to -6db. The bluetooth implementation is finicky and doesn't always connect. I get best results when I use the app after immediately powering on the Ts410. I worry if the bluetooth goes out completely as this the only means to modify the eq curves. The housing is sturdy metal grill with an abs plastic shell. Its quite solid. I like it so much I may purchase a second for stereo. As for volume, it's very loud. It can make my electronic drums sound as thunderous as an acoustic kit. If the eq were adjustable without the bluetooth connection I'd have given 5 stars all around. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

Disclaimer: only used these speakers once for an outdoor party - used for about 6 hours total run time. No issues with overheating or degraded sound quality over time.

What I like: Excellent clarity. Very good bass without a sub. Connecting to the speakers and pairing them was easy. Good bluetooth range. Started losing signal at about 100ft unobstructed. App is pretty easy to use and the presets are actually useful. Extremely powerful - I cranked the level up to about 50% and it was loud enough to drown out conversation from 80 feet away.

What could be better: Self noise - Even at low volumes there is a very audible hiss coming from the speakers. Fine if you are in an environment that is relatively noisy to begin with but could be distracting in places that are very quiet and you try to run these at low volume.
Bluetooth pairing to other speaker got slightly out of sync when I was walking around with my phone. I had to 're-pair' the speakers a couple times when I was moving about because there was a slight (like 20 or so miliseconds) delay in one speaker - cause a slapback type effect. Re-paring only took a few seconds but could be a show stopper if you are truly running a show from a bluetooth device and you're not stationary.
