The first dump trunk I got proved impossible to replace the battery and charging cord together behind the front grill of truck but the seller promptly agreed to replace it and the new one arrived just 2 days after I reported the issue. It arrived extremely well boxed and protected without excess packaging. and does everything advertised. it also seems well built but i can't yet comment on long term durability.

Set up is pretty easy and it even comes with a screw driver because the remote control requires a Phillips head screw driver to remove the truck remote control battery compartment cover. The truck also comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and and a micro USB cord to charge them. After you slide off the front grill of the truck there is an open compartment with a cord that plugs into the cord attached to the rechargeable battery. But it is here that there is a bit of difficulty and why I took off one star. The replacement truck, unlike the original, did allow me to replace both the battery and charging cord so that i could replace the front grill but getting both the battery and cord inside together can be a bit difficult and could possibly break one of the cords if not done properly. For this reason I don't believe a young child should attempt to do this and instead will require assistance from an adult. If only the compartment was made slightly larger this issue could be quickly resolved. Instructions are fair.

As for the truck functions, they are a blast. It has lights and truck sounds which can both be turned on or turned off. separately. Managing the drive and direction changes is extremely easy and the dump function worked flawlessly.

If not for the difficulty with installing and replacing the rechargeable battery this would definitely merit a full 5 starts.
As for the seller, I say kudos and give them a full 5 stars. The transaction was flawless and I think my grandson will love this truck. It is much easier to control than other radio controlled vehicles he has had plus it looks fantastic.

The 9-Channel Metal RC Bulldozer is pretty good a model that is fun to play with. After playing with it with my youngster, I could summarize it in a few points:

Pros:
* The detail on the casted body and the plastic part is pretty good. You can show small details (like the driver inside the cabin or the cap) to the kids and they love it
* The movement through the remote is pretty good - it has forward/backward, left/right turn, and a bonus turn around option in the remote and all of them are very smooth on carpet or wooden floor. It was pretty fun to play with.
* I like the auto-play button on the remote that allows the toy to move on its own in a small space and it is useful to keep the kid engaged without much attention
* The chain and bucket are durable and can move heavy items - again fun to play with

Cons:
* The bucket and the metal claw are on the heavier side and the connecting pin/joint can break if it is slammed hard - be a bit careful of it (this is my only complain)
* The bucket is heavy and one should be monitoring the kid with it just in case

Overall, a very nice toy for youngsters to play with and engage on (particularly the auto mode)

It would be good if Amazon could knock off a few bucks make it easier for more kids to enjoy this incredible to enjoy. Simple for a child to play with and operate. Easy to charge up the batteries and get playing. The instructions are very understandable. It is sturdy unlike many other remote control toys. Again my Grandkids love playing with this toy.

I bought this for my cousins son after realizing that he loves excavating in his outdoor sandbox. My cousin did know if she wanted to thank me or curse me because her 4 year old loved it so much but didn't know how to use the controller so he made her do it for hours on end. It isn't as big as you think it is when you see the photos but he loved it so much I guess it didn't matter. Overall a good buy for kids 4 years an up. Just keep in mind the adults may be the ones having to control it.

My son loves it. It seems to be sturdy and is holding up to a rough 3 year old.
