I cut my own hair with this Glaker clipper. Lots of guides.

I'm 70 years old and it was simple to buzz my hair short with all the different sized guides. I can't show you the back but I have it all cleaned up. I used the 1.5" guide on top. The ear guides. And went from 1/4" up to 1.5" in back. Easy to use. If you keep your hair short, for less than 1 salon visit you'll have years of haircuts at your fingertips. Love this clipper!

Okay...I started cutting my own hair somewhere around 2001 or so, and during that time I've save easily several thousand dollars in paying someone to cut my hair...plus, I don't have to put it off, I can keep my hair as short as I want it without having to wait to touch it up. Trust me, if you are willing to cut your own hair, it is quite the freeing experience not to mention how much money you save.
With that said, I've done the rechargeable route before and opted for a corded pair of clippers in the past so I never have to worry about my trimmer running out of power (which can be an issue if you ever forget to top it off) but I went with these for the simple reason that you can use it with or without the cord plugged in, so that's a nice option. The last rechargeable pair I owned were unusable if the battery got too low, even if I plugged it into an outlet it still would take a bit to charge up enough, and as the battery began to get older, it simple became almost useless.
I prefer the sides and back of my head to be trimmed REALLY close. On my old clippers I'd use a #1/2 and it worked great. The #1 I felt was too long for me. I bought these due in large part to the one adjustable head that you can change the length of...unfortunately it cuts shorter than the #1/2 on my old clippers, which makes it really, REALLY close...just a shade more than my 5 o'clock shadow after shaving in the morning. Now...I tried it anyway wondering if I would be okay with it, and while I can say that even though it's much closer than I had initially wanted, it's still acceptable for me...but I also know that not everyone is going to be okay with this. You can that and the next shortest clipper attachment is the #1, so either you have your hair cut UBER CLOSE or you have it around a little over a quarter-inch long, there is essentially nothing in between.
This seems a bit weird to me if I'm being honest because of how many attachments it comes with, they could've easily left the longest one out and added a #1/2 instead...but maybe I'm splitting hairs (ha, see what I did there?). If this seems like a very minor complaint, you'd be right. It is. But - it's still a legitimate one and worthy of noting in case it also happens to be something that may be an issue for you. They can always make the adjustable head have a wider range so it won't be quite so short, also a possible option.
The set comes with oil to use for the blades (also convenient, but I think most clippers come with at least a tiny vial of it these days). It also comes with a bib to tie around your neck to keep the hair off - which is the only one I have ever seen included with clippers before. Personally, since I already own a couple, I would've rather it came with a carrying case, but again, that is a minor gripe at best - but still, a real one.
I think for the price, my nit-picking may seem overly critical, but it's a pretty good purchase either way and one I will be using for a long time to come.

My husband shaves his head 1 to 2 times a week and said these are the best clippers he has ever owned.
Ceramic trimmer to cut. Works great!

This was a great deal for all the attachments. I thought the main blade was plastic. The seller reached out to me after I made a review about the cutting blade being plastic. I was wrong. It's ceramic, and it's because it keeps the heat down having a ceramic sheer. Pretty interesting. It cut my hair perfectly fine! Changed my review and gets 5 stars.
great out of the box

Easy to use - has changing heads. More than enough lengths of adapters.
