We never use harmful components that would harm the ecosystem and end up in your sweetener. Grown in Guadalajara, our lava-rich soil produces a higher purity agave, naturally. Soviia syrups and nectars are also hand harvested (no machinery) which means more jobs for workers.
• •Many Uses! Soviia is the best choice sweetener for coffee, tea, smoothies, and any drink (hot or cold) that needs sweetener. It has been a longtime staple in cocktails like margaritas, caipirinhas and daiquiris. Recently its use in baking has skyrocketed as a healthier (and vegan) alternative to honey and corn syrup, but it is also an excellent choice for wine and beer making due to its faster and more effective fermentation rates.
• •Low Glycemic! Agave nectar has a very low glycemic index (GI of 15 compared to table sugar's 65), because it has very little glucose, and therefore doesn't spike blood sugar levels as much.
