The rower itself seems to be sturdy and will provide a good workout however, the feet pads are totally useless. My feet kept sliding out and I have to stop to readjust.
I ended top tying my feet in so I could get a steady workout.
What the heck Joroto, a little more thought into people with various feet sizes should've been considered.

We did a lot of research before deciding on this product. The assembly was incredibly easy, our 14 year old was actually the one to assemble it and it did not take long at all. Filling the tank is very easy. We added one tablet to the tank, and based on reviews for other rowers, we crushed it prior to adding it to the tank and it dissolved easily. One of the reasons we selected this model was for the Bluetooth capability so our son could use an app while rowing. The machine is smooth, quiet, and works exactly as described. This is a rower meant for more of a beginner. My son is a cross country runner and at water level 5 (out of 6) he struggles to get his heart rate up. I am not nearly as in shape and he is and it is a great fit for myself. I highly recommend this rower For ease of use, assembly, as well as the price.

This is an update after 1 year use.
Pros. well-built, good looking, compact and great value.
The assembly instruction was well written, and the machine is easy to assemble.
The rowing stroke is smooth and allows full body motion rowing, like Concept 2.
This rowing machine is not for advanced user: the water tank is simply not large enough to provide the necessary heavier resistance for advanced use. For beginner/intermediate user, the machine is great: compact, inexpensive, good looking, and very easy to assemble.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPER: About 2 weeks ago, I could not use the rowing machine because the tank stopper leaked bother. It turns out the stopper (robber plug) deteriorated over time, and needed replacement. I emailed the customer supper (name Icey), and he/she have 2 stoppers promptly delivered to my place in no time. The stoppers were actually fedex to me and it took only a few days from my request to to my front door! The customer support itself convinced me that I should purchase future equipment from the company. Given the quality of customer service, I am sure the company is here to stay and stand behind its products.
Cons. I am yet to figure how to properly use the digital display. The instruction is not well written, and the display not intuitive. I have not able to connect my phone/tablet to the Bluetooth.
Overall a great product for me, and a greater customer experience.

Basic rower that does the job

It's been many years since I last had a rowing machine. I wanted something simple and basic and this one fits the bill. This is my first water rower and I'm pleasantly surprised by the resistance the water creates. I've been using the machine for a little over a month now.
Two things that concern me on the machine are 1) the foot straps seem a little flimsy and I wish they were placed slightly lower on the pedal. I would prefer to row barefoot, but these pedals do not work with my bare feet so I always need to wear shoes. 2) The rollers on the seat seem to already be showing wear after just a month. I'm about 180 pounds so I'm well within the weight tolerance. It's still working smoothly, but I don't know how long they will last.
Other than those two concerns I think this is a great rower for the money. It's much better than my last 3 rowers that were all the old style hydraulic arms. I'm a 55 year old man just trying to stay fit, not an athlete in training. I think for me, this rower does a good job.

Really nice rower and definitely gives you a solid workout. Easy to assemble as well. Provides a total body workout. Waited a few weeks to post a review after using the machine. The only Con I have is the foot rests and your feet absolutely will slide out as you intensify your workout. This is the only reason 4-stars otherwise would be a 5. For a company that specializes in making such equipment why in the world can't you solve for one of the most fundamental components of a rower workout and that's your heels not popping out of the back of the foot rests? All you have to do is increase your mold size and add about two more inches of plastic to the back of the foot rest and this should help. Not rocket science here.
I'd also point out after two weeks of using the machine I'm not quite sure how long the straps that hold your feet in place will last. They are already fraying????
