Too many products way "over-advertise" themselves but this one does not. 20 years ago I bought a solar-powered battery charger to keep the battery in my generator fully charged for when I need it, and I haven't been as satisfied with another product since, until I got this little chain saw.
It's exactly what I need. I've got a couple acres of woods around my house, and every year I lose a lot of tree limbs during winter snows and heavy rains. I've got a gas chain saw if a whole tree or very large limb comes down, but what a pain in the butt to have to get that out, make sure I've got gas & oil mixed, the bar oil reservoir filled, and having to use both hands on the saw to cut up something that's just a little too big to use tree pruners to cut up. Also, having to find a stump or something to put the limb on and then stand on one foot while I use the other to keep the little limb in place is inconvenient and a little dangerous.
Then I came upon an ad for this saw. I was totally skeptical and almost didn't bother looking into it but I did go and read the reviews on Amazon, and it received some great ratings, so I figured it was worth a try. It was. I've only had it for a couple of weeks so far, but so far it works really well. It's light enough to use with one hand, so I can use the other to hold the branch I'm cutting. It cuts these branches as well as a gas powered saw, and so far I'm impressed with its power and battery life. It's about as loud as a vacuum cleaner so that's a plus, too, especially if you have neighbors close by... it's way less noisy than a gas powered saw.
Considering the price, the fact that it comes with two batteries, three chains and the other accessories makes this saw a good value as well. I don't know how long they've been selling it, but I wish I had one of these years ago. I fully recommend it.

I asked a landscaper to cut down my shrubs and he left about six inches of them intact, leaving my yard uglier than before. He said he didn't want to dull his chainsaw blade in the dirt. I purchased a trimmer with a circular saw blade that did very slowly get the job done until it died. It took me days to cut five of the seven stumps down before it died. With this little beast, it took out the two biggest stumps in minutes. Since I had three chains, I happily cut into the dirt and cut all of them to ground level.
The batteries arrived LOOKING fully charged, but according to the battery charger, they weren't. I charged them both for more than an hour before the indicator turned green.
The only problem was that the second battery died way quicker than the first. Thee first lasted for maybe a half hour of straight cutting, and the second battery lasted maybe five minutes. Again, I did charge them both to full power before use. The great thing is that the trimmer that died from another manufacturer also used 21-volt batteries, and they were bigger, with more amp hours. It allowed me to finish and trim off every stump.
I will likely rarely need this chainsaw again, but it made financial sense to buy this for $40 and do it myself than to hire some handyman to do it for $200. That was my lowest quote.

Have always used full-size chainsaws but this is a great tool. I bought it to trim dozens of dead lower limbs from several Juniper trees and to cut them in fire lengths. It did the job quickly and easily. Amazingly powerful and only weights about 2.5 pounds. It comes in a sturdy, attractive plastic box and is a COMPLETE kit, including 2 batteries, 3 chains, perfect size screwdriver and wrench, safety glasses and even a nifty pair of gloves! No guesswork on charging as it has colored lights on the batteries and charger to let you know when it is charged, discharged and charging. Can't think of a single thing to change or complain about and that doesn't happen oftern--just ask my wife!

I have several Willow trees on my property. These trees ALWAYS lose larger branches during major storms. I had been using ratcheting pruners and a hand saw to cut them small enough to load into wheel barrow. Being 60, this was getting more and more difficult. As soon as I got it, I ran out back to 'test' it out. It worked wonderfully with minimal effort. It is light weight, easy to operate.
I went to my neighbors yard where the storm took out some decent branches out of their maple tree. Cut the larger branches easily.
Another neighbors Bradford was split due to an ice storm. This trimmed the broken branches giving a smooth surface to seal against the elements and cleaned up all the branches that fell.
I am glad they included 2 additional chains, oil and tool for swapping the chains. The instructions are clear to understand.
