I've been waiting for this Pelsee P12 pro for a week or so but I just received an open box or a returned item. Soo disappointed! I'm returning it and order another one. Hopefully, it's brand new.
8/6/23 update: I received a brand new item & installed it right away. Seller reached out via email & offered a full refund for the opened box which I noticed some missing items. So far so good!!! Pros:
Price
Decent quality in terms of heft and build
blind spot dection seems to work well
simple installation if you've ever run wires in your car for a stereo or an accessory light.
screen resolution is excellent with very very slight refresh delay, i.e., noticable frame rate.

Cons:
I wish the rear camera had a wider view.
all you see with rear camera at night are oncoming headlights. You can't make much out beside that.
the inclued cable needs to be about 5' foot longer. small to mid-size cars should be Ok.

General notes:
I purchased the 10" model to fit over my 10 inch mirror, but the camera on this model slides out in a way that does not allow full coverage of existing mirror, about 1/2" or so of the existing mirror sticks out on the passenger side. Basically the 10" mirror blocks about 12"s of view and only offers a 10" screen. So, I bought the 12" unit and it's camera does not slide and it covers the entire mirror and the way the camera is fixed the area blocked is about 12.5". BUT you get a 12" screen and it fits a bit better. I will post some photos of the finished install.

This is better than having no visibility at all. While there are some comments about losing your mirror, I have found that when the unit is off, the screen is glossy/shiney enough to use as a mirror. I have a 2015 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma and ran the wire from the rearview, tucked it under the headliner where it meets the windshield, down the a pillar, under the door threshhold out the passenger side drain plug behind the passenger side seat and they followed the frame back to a license plate bracket I bought separeately. I had just enough wire to do the job. I wish I had a few fee extra.

For 99 dollars, this unit is a bargan based on what seems to be a very good build quaility. Granted the camea and wiring are not the best in the world, but seem adequate. I really like this unit and will update this post should my opinion or observations change.

I underestimated this dashcam mirror. The image quality is very good both for the front and rear cameras. It was relatively easy to install probably because I know my way around cars. I bought the hardwiring kit and used that instead of the original power connector. You have to do that if you need the continuous recording when the car is turned off.

The advanced driver assist system (ADAS) in this dashcam surprised me. It works very well in detecting other cars and pedestrians if you enable it. The bride spot monitor is also pretty good. The only problem I have with it is you can only use one at a time. When you use the blind spot monitor, you lose the forward collision and lane departure, and vice versa. I wish there was a way for both of them to work at the same time.

You can switch to only rear or front camera, or both, which is a nice touch. I primarily use the rear camera when driving. The display brightness is good but lacking a little when it's very sunny.
The voice assistance is also pretty good.

Overall, it's value for the money in my opinion.

Pros:
- The setup was easy, enough wire to reach the rear of the vehicle and tuck the extra under the liner.
- Front quality is very nice both day and night. Gott make sure the windshield is clean inside otherwise there's a glare from the haze. (Especially at night).

Cons:
- As other reviews mentioned, audio recording is very poor. I turned it off altogether since you could not make out anything (especially if you have music playing when you drive).
- the mirror is not very stable and noticeable shakes while driving. It's a small annoyance but in bumpy roads it makes a big difference. I have the rubber straps as tight as they can go. I even put a piece of foam in between the OEM mirror and the unit for stability but this didn't help.
-Rear camera quality at night isn't great. During the day you can capture decent footage with plenty of detail. In low light situations, the quality isn't good, especially if you are driving in a very dark road.

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase now that I've owned a few months. I don't use the rear camera while driving since the distance is distorted by the wide angle. I turn off the display as soon as I start the car. The mirror is a little darker but it doesn't bother, or hinder my ability to look back.

My friend has neighbors that stalk and road rage her all the time and the police couldn't do anything without proof. I bought her this dash cam and she had pics of 3 vehicles now.
It was super easy to install and has a great picture. Easy to set up and I really like the voice command.
Highly recommend!
