I purchased this pad to stop my queen-sized mattress from sliding around on its metal platform bed frame. It fit the frame perfectly. Some reviewers commented on the pad falling through the rails or bunching under the mattress, so I came up with a solution that eliminated both problems. I spot-taped the pad to the frame with clear packaging tape strategically placed around the perimeter. I then wrestled that heavy mattress back onto the platform all by myself, and the pad stayed in place without bunching. The mattress stays where it belongs, and (BONUS!) the flat sheet stays tucked under the foot of the mattress properly. I couldn't be happier!
No more sliding mattress

It was a daily ritual to push my mattress back in against the headboard when making the bed. And my pillow (among other crap) would fall into the space between the mattress and headboard. Is it the worst thing to ever happen to someone? No, but it was the absolute bane of my existence. Now I'm breastfeeding my baby so I have to sit up against the headboard which made it worse. Anyways, I googled solutions and this came up. No more sliding. The mattress hasn't migrated an inch despite me moving around more often then pre baby. And very simple too- I just put it between the mattress and slats. Voila. 10/10 recommend.
