I've been in the food industry since I was old enough to wash dishes in my uncles restaurant eventually becoming a respected chef in the community. I've worked in more restaurants than I'd like to remember and used just about every kitchen tool imaginable. This is"¦ the second best kitchen torch I've used"¦and the price point makes it amazing. My other torch, I ourchased on the restaurants account, cost me nothing but sold for roughly 5x this guy. It's a good tool, burns hot clean and even; especially with the precise fuel air mix and overall btu adjustment knobs. The stand is also a huge factor. Clips on to the tank securely and keeps it stable, and the bright orange makes it easy to know exactly where it is at all times. Works great on crème brûlée, a quick toasted sandwich roll, perfect for melting cheese on a rare burger and making presentation just right on baked dishes. Highly recommend this product, for home and industry use. Great job Jo!

Not long ago, I bought a small refillable butane torch. Refilling with a plastic adapter never worked adequately, wasting much of the fluid during refilling. Jo Chef Pro Butane is easy to operate and the flame is strong enough for casual home use. I only used it once since I bought it last week. The durability is unknown at this time. It came with two standard gas cans that are available from most local Asian grocery or hardware stores. I would recommend wearing an oven globe while operating if you are not comfortable dealing with an open-flame device such as this.
