The media could not be loaded. Appears to be good quality and has a more "˜porous' quality to them that should actually serve better to capture sound. Something capturing sound waves is the goal.
Smaller panels do then require more lining up of panels and getting them to adhere to the wall vs larger panels. These are 7.9" tall and the effort required to line things up (repeatedly) with more panels seems to increase with the quantity. That said, there is maybe some sound deadening bonus in having more ridges at the seems too.

These acoustic panels have been a great addition for sound dampening within my creative areas. The material really helps soften up hard reflective surfaces and is composed of the denser variety of foam versus the spongy types which seem to be less effective (I use both). The rectangular configuration makes for a brick or subway tile vibe, which looks fantastic if one is seeking a touch of subtlety (I was, which is why I chose white). I attach most of my panels onto sheets of corrugated plastic for modularity and ease of reuse/transport. The adhesion was plenty sufficient and together the panels formed the perfect size to fit above my workbench. All factors considered, these panels suit my needs and I am pleased with the performance.

These add a barrier to sound that is noticeable and generally effective. These aren't of the greatest quality, craftsmanship or materials but, for the low price, they do a good job of separating the loud from the less loud. I use these on the wall behind my stereo and my neighbors - we live in a townhouse - haven't heard my music. Prior to using these, because I am a bass player and turn up the bass so I can hear the bass lines, I did have to keep the bass or the volume lower so these definitely do help between homes. I didn't try these between our own home's walls but I expect, from makeup and materials, they cannot repel sound from room to room in the same house so well as they do from home to home.
