This is a great little setup if you're by yourself!
The net setup takes a minute but once you get it, it's really efficient. I only used half of the court with the net near the fence. It's great if you want to work on a particular swing, repetition is the key to success, and this is a tool to help you get there. I think the net setup time is actually a positive, because if you are going to spend the time to set it up then you're going to spend time practicing. I'm impressed with this product!

Fun beginner level pitcher and easy set up net

This is a fun beginner pitching machine. It is easy to set up and comes with 8 balls that are super fun to whack as they sail far far far when hit with a softball bat. It is super easy to set up and works pretty well. It is a lob pitch more like slow-pitch than fast pitch. Even at the lowest setting it still has a pretty big arc on it. This is fine for hand eye and learning to wait on the pitch (like a change-up) but otherwise useless for my girls who are 11-13 and in fastpitch softball. I was hoping I would be able to get a more horizontal pitch out of it. We were able to rig up a wedge which angles the opening down and that got a better horizontal pitch and more useful for us. We have a PVC pipe core foam covered skinny bat which they use with the these balls and it is a pretty decent practice tool. It is all plastic construction and has a very toy lightweight feel to it. I don't think it is really worth it's price but as there is not any other pitching machine in this price range vs. the $400 range of a professional machine it's good for what it is. It works with other stress ball style balls & tennis balls - we have a bunch GGK foam baseballs which worked great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09XK1XLJ2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I have a small power cell that I can plug the machine into and we are able to use it in the park or at our league fields in the batting cage we can plug it in via extension cord. It has worked for us pretty well and my girls like it. It would prob work better for tennis but even then there is no real speed to it so really only for beginners.
The net is a decently constructed backstop net specifically for the Furlihong pitching machine. The net itself is well made from nice materials. We have 3 other 7x7' softball/baseball nets so have a good barometer for quality. This one is a sturdy, lightweight & easy to set up. This one uses fiberglass tent-like poles to hold up the net and steel click together poles for the base. The base is steel and a good weight to be stable, it comes with U stakes which is nice on windy days. The whole thing is pretty easy to set up - the fiberglass poles being bendy really helped with stringing the net up and they keep it nice and tight. The kids set it up on their own. The bag is not quite as nice as my other net's bag but it is decent quality thick oxford canvas the fits everything with a little wiggle room.
I docked a star for it's function. When using the foam Furlihong balls there is not enough tension in the net to make all the balls roll down towards the center opening, many get caught up in the corners. It is also completely open on the bottom 1/4th of the net - any grounder balls will go straight thru. This also make the net really only useable with the Furlihong pitching machine as the opening on the bottom is to high and a lot of balls will end up passing thru. Also - it's too small. With the way the pitching machine delivers balls (quite a bit of arc) you have to stand 6-8 feet away from it so any well hit ball is gonna soar over the net anyways, especially the little foam balls - they fly! At this price point it is a miss that it is only useful with one type of pitching machine. I can see it's function with a tennis application where you are actively trying to hit a target. I guess I could work on that with my kids too. Anyways - the net is a miss for us unfortunately. It's not worth the work to set up/take down and hauling it around for only one drill. If we had room to leave it up in our yard that would be one thing, but we don't and we needed it to be used portably.

I got this for my sons' who play tennis twice a week. This is great!!! First off it does not take up much room in the backyard so you don't need a huge yard to get this thing going. The machine shoots the balls nicely so my kids get good practice out of it. But their favorite part is when they get it in the net, they don't have to run around the court to collect balls- that is their least favorite part at practice.
This is great for beginners, I don't know how well it withstand hard hits. Also, make sure to store away when it is windy as ours toppled right over.
But for all tennis lovers this is a really great beginners combo!!!

For Tennis, this is a really nice practice tool for the price point. It basically tosses a ball about 10-15 feet horizontally, and about 5-6 feet vertically into the air. It's good for working on the basics of your ground strokes. This is a great substitute for self-feeding, i.e., dropping a ball in front of you. I found that it's better if you put it on something that is waist level, so I've been using my ball-hopper which seems to work well. This is not really a ball machine that can launch the ball from one side of the court to the other, as long as you know what to expect, this will be a good practice tool that you'll enjoy. I invested in some rechargeable "D" batteries so that I'm not having to constantly buy more. I've found that one set of batteries lasts me through two one-hour practice sessions, I haven't pushed it beyond that. I would give it 5 stars if it held like 5-10 more balls and the throw was a little stronger, but for the price this is a great practice tool.
Use Furlihong Brand Dimpled Baseballs

The frame and net were not my favorite to put together, nor does it work as seamlessly as I expected for a rebounder. The balls would hit the net and sometimes they would find their way down to the hole, you have to get that net just right.
When you set up the launcher below, you want to make sure it is offset from the hole, not directly under it, otherwise the ball won't come down. I plug it into one of my portable power stations.
The launcher works great with Furlihong brand balls (also on amazon), it soft tosses them up and you hit them back in the net.
Overall quality is excellent and value is there for this combo.
