Strangely enough, this rug photographs very well and despite attempting many angles and closeups, I was not able to show that in reality the black lines are more choral because they are pained on (second picture shows the back side) and don't fully cover the original cream background. Hence 4 stars.
All in all, I truly love the pictured color combo and the fact that this rug is washable. However, somehow in person that "faded" black plus casual texture don't provide the pulled together, grown up bathroom look I was hoping for. And contrast between the shaggy part and the rest of this rug is not as pronounced, which causes "vanilla" effect. Regretfully, I'll have to return the rug.
But I have to add that the quality is vey good, the shaggy parts are very soft and made well (hard to pull out) and elevate the visual effect.
I LOVE the cream base color, it's just that perfect shade - warm and inviting and cozy.
Beautiful tribal design overall. Great use of textures.

The rug was as described and even prettier in person. I have now purchased two - the 2x3 has cute tassels but the 3x5 does not. That is the only thing I was a bit bummed by.

I bought this rug for staging a room in a house for sale. It looks great!
It was a bit of a hassle to get the creases out (steamer and dryer with steam), but that's to be expected in a rug packed small for shipping. The texture is great visually, but I wonder how it would hold up with any traffic over it. It is very shaggy!
