Hard to vacuum

This rug is thick, it's sort of a shag rug. It's a unique texture and hard to clean. I can't use my vacuum on it, the entire rug got sucked up and stuck. So I have to pick it up and shake it out every couple of weeks. Other than the inconvenience of cleaning, the rug is great. I got the pink color which is very vibrant and gives off a pop-art look.

This rug comes vacuum packed in a small box. Soft, light, thin rug that's not easy to vacuum without it catching on the vacuum cleaner rollers. Nice color. My only complaint, and the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it smells very bad. Other reviewers have complained about this also. I'm in the process of trying to get rid of the smell by, first of all, airing it out overnight on my porch; secondly spraying it with fabric freshener & using a scented wax melt lamp. This seems to help. It's still a good buy for the price. Update: It took 2 full days for the bad smell to go away. Fabric freshener helped a lot.
