Pretty good kit

Pros:
Materials seem to be a good metal

This was an order all about having a thread kit on hand for those rare instances I could use one. I sat on this for a while expecting an instance to naturally occur, but one didn't pop up so I drilled a hole in a piece of wood and ran a threader down it.
Looking in the hole the result is pretty clear, it threaded well. I started out using a pair of pliers to turn the bit but quickly grew tired of that and switched to a socket wrench, which worked wonders.
The threads on the bits were clear in the kit I received, but as other reviews has pointed out this isnt always the case.
My initial impressions are fairly positive. When I get a chance to really use this kit I'll come back amd update the review if anything changes.

I ordered this set because something as simple as a bolt or nut can hold up a job when you have to go get a new fastener and time is money. The set came in handy almost immediately as I needed it to figure out the size nut needed to replace the one that flew off my string trimmer head, which was a left hand thread. The kit helped me confirm that it was an M8x1.25 thread size so that I didn't have to take my trimmer to the hardware or shop just to figure out the size of the nut, just to find out they didn't carry it in LH thread. Instead, I was able to check online and call around to find it somewhere locally. For a DIYer that doesn't want to spend a kings ransom on a kit or waste time at hardwares trying to find the right size bolt or wants or needs to reuse damaged or contanimated threads, this fits the bill.
