My husband and I are both soccer officials. We recently purchased the EJEAS V4C units. All units came with left ear only. We contacted GaiRen to request an exchange for two right ear units. In less than one day, they responded to our email request and within one week the new ear units were received. We are pleased with their customer service. We will need more time to fully evaluate the units themselves as the outdoor soccer season is on pause until late January.

We use thee for soccer officiating. The reason we purchased new ones: Our older version tended to have interference and the earpiece would need constant adjusting. It often felt like it was falling off.
The newest version is much clearer, the earpiece stays in/on ear way better and the pairing of devices way simpler. NOTE: we had some malfunctioning units in our newest batch right out of the box (the talking voice in the unit would indicate they were paired but we could have no mic or sound when the defective unit was added to the string). The team at GaiRen were extremely helpful trying to troubleshoot and then ultimately sending new units that took minutes to set up (vs several hours with the malfunctioning units or many more minutes with the old version.)
Now we just wait to see how they hold up over time...

I purchased these headset units for use on the soccer field. I am a Referee and needed a set of four to use and share with my officiating crew. I initially did not have high hopes using these headsets. Man, was I wrong!! Not only did they work flawlessly but they were crystal clear and very comfortable to use, wear and operate, not to mention the very fair price I paid for them!!. I did have trouble at first linking and syncing them but once I understood and became accustomed to them, they were a breeze to use. I purchased a set of four headsets, an organizer bag and extra soft foam earbud cushions. Customer service was awesome when contacting them about my concerns and in turn they were very prompt with a response and resolution!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company's product!! I got the 4 pack of the GaiRen EJEAS V4 Plus communication devices and they are so good. I've used other devices before while officiating volleyball, but there was always a slight fuzzy/buzzing noise, these have no background noise and you can even hear talking from nearby players or spectators clearly. The 4 way open communication is great for keeping official communication open and also to help to get the calls right the 1st time. The devices are lightweight, easy to operate, and the batteries last for more than a couple matches before I have to recharge them. The only thing I wish these had were headsets that could be used on the left or right ear, versus coming with just left ear headsets. Outside of that, these are some of the best headsets I've used throughout the season, and I've even had other officials say how much they like them and are considering purchasing them as well.
