Right ear no longer charges, but replacement sent promptly

Unit worked fine...until the right ear unit stopped excepting a charge. Shows charging for about 5 seconds then goes dark. As an update, the company has sent out a replacement very promptly with -0- hassle, so we will see how the second set holds up.

Very tiny, but effective ear pieces, standard packaging with charger, cleaning tips, additional ear tips to suite the ear canal opening, a manual which I found easy to follow, esp. the quick user guide. I liked several features such as the one button operation, which allows the aids to turn on, or off, and also set the sound level. Although the manufacturer claimed no whistling, I was able to hear it as I bring my hands near the devices. The whistling stops if I lower the volume, but at the cost of lower sound. I need to spend some time to understand more. The charging is good for 24 hours. then the devices can be inserted back into the charging port with works as a carrying pouch.

My MIL has three fitted hearing aids that are lost 99% of the time. They inevitably hurts her ears after a few hours of wear and she takes them out. We've been trying to train her to give them to her husband, but with her slipping memory that doesn't happen either. We felt it was important to get her some kind of hearing device (that isn't thousands of dollars) so she can be involved in conversations rather than checked out. So far we have tried four. Two of them looked like the earbuds that everyone wears, and one of them was wired to a neckband. She did like one of the earbud styles, but one of them is lost already because it does eventually hurt.
This set is by far her favorite because she can wear them pain free all day. The ear pieces are small enough that they don't hurt, but they don't fall out either. They are very easy to set to the proper volume and then it stays there because of the stem that you use to put it in or out, so there is no accidently changing the settings. I did get some screeching when I put it in to my ears to adjust the settings, but that was because I got it up to the highest setting. I had it adjusted for when she put it in and she has had no screeching at all.
The only thing we don't love is that if feels awkward to put the ear pieces into the charger upside down, but that is a very small complaint indeed.

These hearing aids are nice and small. They will fit a good variety of ear sizes well. The case they come with is small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. They also have a magnetic feature so when you put your hearing aids in, it will pull them in to hold them in place. There are lights on the case that will flash to show you the battery life for each ear piece AND the battery of the charger (which can be recharged to allow for charging on the go). They are fairly simple to use with a single button function to turn on and to increase/decrease the volume. They do take some getting used to as your own voice/breathing/pulse will be picked up. I feel like that became less prominent as you adjusted to them and had the volume at the right setting. I was impressed at the clarity of the sounds that these hearing aids picked up. You can faintly hear the white noise of the hearing aid but it is not loud enough to make much of a difference. If you can't get a doctor prescribed pair of hearing aids, these would be a good alternative. I do recommend them.
