Couple observations:
-The instructions aren't super easy to follow
-It's really dependent on the drill you are using
-You need to make sure everything is in tight adjustment BEFORE you start using it
I'm honestly impressed by this little piece of kit. It took a minute or two to figure out how to get it attached to a Makita drill, but it wasn't bad. Alignment is key. Make sure it's sitting in the chuck straight. And don't get it in your head that "you don't need that support arm". You do, and it needs to be tight.
The first couple tests I did were with aluminum flashing. Cuts like butter, and FAST! Second set of tests were on 22 guage sheet metal. I thought it'd maybe struggle a bit. Nope. Went right through it. That is encouraging when thinking about cutting roofing or siding panels.
Now what isn't it? It's not the four hundred dollar dewalt powered specialty tool. If you are just doing some occasional DIY, one will do you. If you are planning a bigger project; buy a couple or more. At this price why not? If they break, swap them. Or with the current price of used drills...have a few ready to go. Point is, for under $20 these are basically disposable. If you get a full day's use out of one, you made money in productivity even if you throw the tool in the recycling bin.
Now having said that, the fit and finish could be slightly improved. It's easy to see how QA on these cutters could be second rate. So inspect the tool carefully before you put it to use. If it's not assembled correctly, it'll break.
Overall it's a solid optional tool to add to your sheet metal tool kit.
