Getting the hang of these was admittedly pretty awkward for me. They're very simple, but I just had to retrain my brain how to set up and orientate the sheets to cut them. Once I got all that behind me I gotta say I'm really pleased with these, and so are my hands!

I use mine in my cordless impact drill and it works great. It is a process to get all the stuff hooked up on it, but it's definitely worthwhile.

This works and it works ok, but I would not use this if you need precision cuts. Let's be honest, it does not cost much, so for that it is pretty darn good. If you buy it, spend a bit of time learning how to use it or else you will get very frustrated. I used it on aluminum flashing, which it easily cut, but it does get stuck and you need to do a reverse/run with it. I tried it on 28 gauge steel roofing material and while it did cut it, it is kind of a toss-up if it works better than hand shears or not.

As others have noted, if using a keyless drill you might have a problem mounting it. I have multiple battery and corded drills and it mounted on about 70% of them. This is not the machine's problem, it is just the nature of "universal" type products.

I'm giving this 4 stars. It isn't perfect, there is a learning curve, but it does work and it isn't expensive.

This is a really cool product and it intrigues me how it works. But it's not as strong as you might be hoping. I tried using it on the medal of a door panel after taking off the plastic of the door panel. It was not strong enough to cut through that metal. So I believe what they're cutting through in the video of the item description is like aluminum or really thin metal like such. So if you're in need of this tool don't expect it to cut through any thick steel or other thick metals but if what you're cutting through is a thinner metal this could really be a useful tool for you. It works with a regular drill by just wrapping the spring around the base and hooking it to itself. Pretty cool tool

Because of the girth of the cutter, this is appropriate for flat stock only unless there is clearance. It cuts well enough, given room but it is cumbersome. It does a great job with plastics, ensuring a nice, clean line. I expect it will have its uses and, for the price, is worth having in the shop.
