I was looking for something soft sided, long enough to hold my light stand. The 40.5" is big enough to also hold my tripod, light, cords, and all my accessories. Comes with a long strap in addition to the handles so I have an option to carry it on my shoulder. It also comes with 2 "semi stiff" pads to put on the bottom that give it more shape and support where needed at the bottom. I haven't used it in the field yet, but so far it ticks all the boxes. I'm blown away at how affordable this is. Appears to be well made.
Well made bag, but missing the strap

I'd give it 5 stars, but the strap was missing. (I replaced it with one from Zinz that I like.) From other reviews I've read here, the strap that comes with it isn't very good, and it's likely I would have replaced it anyway. So rather than raising a fuss, I just ordered a strap. Unfortunately, that makes the 30.5" bag, ($40 at the time of review) a $55 bag.
Aside from that, I'm pretty pleased. It fit everything from my Celestron - PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope (Tripod, mount, counterweight, tube, plus accessories) I included photos of that, in case you have a similar setup. I was also able to fit my 66" tripod, 150-600mm lens and camera and accessories.

This bag is large and long enough to hold both a backdrop tripod and its background cloth, along with four clamps, a ring-light/phone camera tripod, the light-ring and several other small gizmos and/or crucial items you'd need for your "shoot". Interior straps with aviator snaps keep everything secure when transporting and you have a choice of using the hand straps ora shoulder strap to carry conveniently. It's a good investment!

I needed something to carry multiple small tripods and stands for workshop technology equipment because the crappy cases that came with the tripods were falling open and losing pieces. It is a great size for what I needed, the material is thick and durable, it zips and unzips easily but stays zipped (the most important thing for me!) and has padding and dividers to help fit various sizes of tripods.
