I couldn't believe how fast it cut the branches. I should have bought one of these years ago.
Lightweight, good for pruning small branches

This is handy for pruning small to medium-small branches that are too high to reach without a stepladder, but it's not long enough to reach very high branches, and it's not sturdy enough for thick branches. This is intended for casual pruning and clean-up on the lower branches of a tree, and for that it works pretty well. The lightweight blade makes it easy to hold, although it has its limitations. The pole is also pretty light, and I wouldn't expect it to handle a great deal of stress.
Shortest option: Cheap but light and functional

Besides costing about what an inexpensive pruning saw without the pole would cost, this is very light for a pole saw, and actually works, at least for now. It's a great deal from that perspective.
The materials are cheap, and it's a little extra bother to assemble compared to more expensive, heavier alternatives (some of which have handles with one section instead of five).
It's 7'3" (87") long assembled, a few inches shorter than claimed.
Despite having so many sections, this stays rigid and the blade stays firmly in place, once assembled to within a mm of failure.
The blade comes quite sharp and cuts easily. I doubt it will keep its sharpness as well as more expensive blades, but it's good for now. (The blade can probably be replaced if you don't mind drilling holes to match the replacement.)
The blade is fine for light work but not thick, so it may buckle more with hard cuts, as even the best blades do sometimes. I've only tried it on easy stuff.
The canvas storage bag can double as a sheath for the blade if you want to keep this assembled. If you twist the velcro around a little, it will close securely around the blade holder and stay in place.
Assembly isn't exactly hard, but the included wrench isn't very good, so it's a little finicky to use. If you have your own tools, it goes faster. You need an additional tool anyway to tighten the long screws, which were left loose on mine at least. I had to use the third included long screw to get the blade holder assembly to stop wobbling. I used vice grips to hold the screw heads while tightening, which worked fine.
While tightening the long screws, which hold the blade holder onto the handle, I accidentally overtightened and compressed to handle into an oval, but I left it that way (probably not a good idea to loosen those screws once that happens) and haven't had any trouble with it yet. It was easy to overtighten.
The instructions and illustrations don't make it clear, but I assume the blade is intended to go inside the blade holder, not to one side of it. A screwdriver to wedge the space open a little helps.
I'm going to store this out of the sun, because those plastic couplers on the handles don't look like they'd hold up to much exposure.
The 21-foot and 27-foot poles offered here, by the way, have longer, sturdier sections made from epoxy resin (fiberglass, presumably). Those would be heavier, of course.

Does the job

Suitable for minor tree pruning jobs, but could be iffy with large branches. Great light weight saw. It's a bit cheap and flimsy but does the job I need.
It’s OK

Good for palm trees🌴. The blade is flimsy for the most part but get the job done.
