I am using this as independent beds currently, not stacked. the slats do not have clear drill marks for spacing, they are also plywood and a few of them made very concerning cracking noises. it would probably be best to beef them up with a few extra boards of the same thickness.
I used a drill with a hex head bit which cut the assembly time in half and saved my wrist.
The trundle is very rickety and is only good for use like twice a year with a lightweight mattress

It is very solid. Everything fit into place as it should however a few of the holes were not completely drilled out but that was an easy fix with just a screw driver.

We bought this when our 5 year old said she wanted a bunk bed. We quickly found out her sister did not appreciate being on the bottom bunk so an easy fix was to simply detach the two so the little sister has a loft bed and her sister has a full size bed. Win/Win. Took a while to set up but it's very sturdy.

The bottom trundle bed is a little hard to pull out on carpet but other than that we absolutely love this bed. The price was not too much and the quality is there. You won't regret it.

I was skeptical that this bed would be a nightmare to assemble and end up broken in a few weeks. I put this together for my 3 year old son in about 3 hours on christmas eve using power tools which i would absolutley recommend. It went together easier than expected and is very sturdy. My other child has claimed the top bunk and hasnt slept in her room since we got it.
Only issue is the drawers that go under the bottom of the bed were missing the bottom wood pieces. Waiting to see if the seller is able to remedy the issue. If not i will drop the rating later.
Would still recommend, especially if on a tight budget.
