The media could not be loaded. Started playing records with my teen and it was awesome to see a kid, who has grown up on streaming services, interact with music as something tangible. After a trip to the record store, I had to get a new record player for the house and opted for this since it connects to our Sonos speakers. Works great with the speakers and doesn't take up too much room. And if you got one of these "teens" at home, go record shopping with them. And make sure you got something at home to play those records on.

Fantastic addition to my Sonos home system. Easy to set up and use. Sounds and looks great. It's exciting to play vinyl and stream across my entire Sonos set up. Makes me want to go record shopping again. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Victrola Stream Onyx with Sonos Wireless Turntable. I was a bit skeptical on how this would work with my Sonos home system, and if the set up process would be too complex to understand...WHAT WAS I EVEN WORRIED ABOUT! When opening up the Victrola box the whole experience felt like I was on top of everything I needed to know. There wasn't too many components to put together, instructions were very easy to understand. Step 1 was to download the Victrola app and right away it connected to my wi-fi then Sonos system...that was easy. Next step was to see if there was going to be any audio coming out when I put the needle on the record.... Right away I started to hear the crackling....I got a big smile on my face...IT WORKS...That was easy.
The Victrola Stream Onyx is very solid. The materials used feel quality but light weight enough where anyone can move it vs a traditional turntable or any sort of cheap plastic turntable. The system is easy to turn on with a push of the front button which also acts as a volume control. I'm so happy this was invented and now I can stream all my records throughout my whole house and or different areas of my home. A+A+...Can't wait to see what they do next.

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought the Victrola Onyx Player and I have to say, I am blown away by its Sonos compatibility. Although I usually don't write reviews, this turntable was too cool not to share. The sound quality that I get from my speakers is a whole new experience compared to normal internet streaming. It's the perfect complement to my streamlined entertainment system, and the fact that it's reigniting my interest in vinyl collection was a bit of a surprise. I also love sharing it with friends - it's a great conversation starter.

Downsides - One potential downside of the Victrola Stream Onyx turntable with built-in Sonos compatibility is that it may be more expensive compared to other turntables that do not have this feature. Also need to consider is the cost of purchasing vinyl records, which can add up quickly. However, starting with a few classic albums can be a more manageable approach for those on a budget. For me this was a great investment.
