Gorgeous doll with just one or two minor flaws.

This Monster High doll is a must have for anyone's Monster High collection! Not only is it another "curvy" character, but a new body mold, and new feet, legs, and hands molds. Abbey is a bit bigger and taller than the other dolls in Monster High and the proportion are just great. The variety in the dolls' shapes reflects our own world. and how every body is beautiful in its own way. Her face is adorable and her outfit is not only cute, but the first time the rebooted brand has given pants to a female character!
She isn't perfect though. Her hair is incredible long with a beautiful multicolor blend. It is also poly hair. It feels dry as straw for the entire bottom half of her hair. The top half isn't too bad to feel but still isn't great. The thick poly also tends to get tangled up in itself, but it can withstand hard play and be brushed out again. So, depending on what the person getting the doll is like, the hair could be a plus or a con.
This last con is something I've actually experienced with several of the dolls, not just Abbey. But the dolls' hands are designed to be removed for changing their doll clothes. But the hands are made of a softer, weaker plastic than the wrist peg. And despite being a careful adult, I still ended up with the hands torn loose from the pegs. The hands can kind of be reattached but will likely fall off loose again.

Well, I am a long time collector and wanted to give this new line a try. Things I like are the body looks kinda like the hormone monsterss from BIG MOUTH so that's adorable. She will not go with your classic dolls if you wanna play with her, ( I have daughters). Her hair is not great we may re root it later. Her little glasses do not look like the picture. Her make up and face isn't as cute as the picture but that's ok. Her pants are adorable!! I do like her pet he's cute! Overall she's pretty darn cute! But I have 3 classic Abby's and of course I prefer the classic dolls to this. I do enjoy stomping her around lol she's huge 😅 her shoes are also cute!! JUST A WARNING YALL it's not the same as our old classic monster monster monster high dolls. 😞 They just don't make em like that anymore. I just told myself it's NOT a monster high doll and that's how I got over it. She also can't wear any other clothes or shoes so that's it for mix matching unless u have the other new dolls Idk.
